The Situation


With a growing volume of PR, internal, investor, industry, company and social news, TELUS wanted to create an innovative publishing system that would bring all of this news together in one place. This would help team TELUS stay abreast of the most relevant news in a world overflowing with information.

The Solution


We began with research into publishing and how users like to view, sort and consume their content. Our findings helped create a mobile first, bilingual, user focused digital publishing platform built on a customized WordPress core that pulls PR related news, influential social posts as identified by a social listening tool, TELUS blog content and TELUS Studios videos.

While most of the serious work is under the sheets, some key publishing features like real time sorting, collaborative proofing & custom analytics, help make the TELUS Media project a unique tool that has helped keep the TELUS team well informed.
